Gay, Hypocrite, Nigger

How many words are there in the language we use most in this country today?, some words are new words we didn’t know and dozen of words are added each year, words like Photo bomb, Throwing shade, Listicle and more words enter our language. Words that are no longer used may get removed from dictionaries, some change meanings over the years and no longer mean what they meant even when we were younger, if my memory serves me correctly, reading as a younger person the word showed up in some children books , gay didn’t mean what it does today, in earlier books, dictionaries gay was – merry, cheerful, jovial, gay today refers largely to homosexuals , yes homosexuals can be merry, cheerful, jovial like everyone else, even if this writers earlier reference of the word is liked most, but don’t be offended, this writer won’t if you prefer the latter meaning of the word.

Pride in being you

One of the most sadly but often displayed words that we use today is what is really so sadly true in too many people, people who seek to be absent of any of their worth and desire to fill in by supporting what’s popular, what fills their pockets or may get them face time in fifteen seconds of fame at any moment in their life, you find this word often to define people in the political circles, they say anything to get your vote and too many people abide them, do you know what word that is? it’s hypocrisy and too many so called public figures lead the way in being tag with it, some wear it proudly, more people need to beware of hypocrites.

Vote for me and I’ll set you free

Direful may not be the best word to describe what some young people use in various forms now as a word of affection and a word some want to ban, the N word or to those who feel it’s part of history and that history should not be loss or dismiss in any way know the N word as true current and history knows it as (Nigger) most people may want their children to forgive but not forget any part of their true past, reading documents of interviews with former slaves, the Jim Crow, Civil Rights era and today, the so called banning of the word nigger should not be supported by those the word was haul toward, but should be used in its proper place, time and people, my loving step mother once explain in short, the word nigger can refer to any person, white, yellow, black or brown who is trifling, troubling, or act in the worse way of a human. Some people even before this generation put it in song and change a few letters , use the word in affectionate ways toward each other, what we may now own need not be banned but used in its historical truths.

Words, even good words can be made bad words depending on how they are use in a sentence, to say I hate gays, I don’t love you anymore, I despise those niggers are all hateful or harsh sentences to hear and then to turn around and try to make the few the face of a moment to support a cause that benefits those in power or privilege is happening too often if blacks are truly not welcome in the hearts of those seeking to gain one fight over another .

True history need not be ban

A powerful but sometimes over used word for selfish or calculating reasons is a word that can turn words in a sentence to a most meaningful feeling in many cases. the word love in a sentence instead of hate, despise or any hate filled word can make a U turn from violence, in some areas the N word is used especially in rap songs spelled and having another meaning. There are many words this writer could have chosen but these words ( nigger, hypocrite, gay) are just some often words that have and do make their meanings make some unexpected but mostly bad reaction, if we truly learn to put a do to others as you’ve like done to you, in our hearts and use words in their proper place and time, no changes or bans would be needed.
