Most fair minded children, teens, adults, towns, cities, states, countries know or should know when enough is enough, from a scuffle in a early child care, a fist fight on an elementary school playground, a fight during a pickup basketball game, or skirmish between states or worse.
Most of us remember the so called unfounded bill up of mistruths leading to the war in Iraq, no weapons of mass destruction but a loss of too many American lives and many, many innocent Iraquís women and children killed, some entire families wipe out, haven’t we learned anything from Edwin Starr?, have leaders learn a better way to solve major conflicts?, does who kill the most children, teens, elderly add to a better world?, or will it lead to more hate, wars and miss understandings in the future?.
Our so called, greatest country in the world, strongest army, navy, marines and air power, a country that champions human rights around the globe, spends more on weapons then most countries and provides/sells more weapons likely than farming equipment, automobiles, beds, housing or food to those in need, are most wars base on greed? replacing weapons, rebuilding after your weapons destroy everything.
Like most kids, powerful leaders should know when enough is enough, stop the over killing, one day of attacks shouldn’t have several months of retaliation on a small area of people, most who didn’t kill anyone, there has to be a enough ending and people willing enough to stop the killings. Enough is enough.
